Marc Maddux
Marc Maddux was born and raised in South Louisiana’s Cajun country. Marc is a graduate of Tulane University with a Bachelor of Science in Management, Concentration in Accounting. After graduation, Marc remained in the New Orleans area and began a two-year stint in Public Accounting in the audit division of Arthur Andersen. That was followed by a stint in private industry at Sizeler Property Companies, a publicly traded Real Estate Investment Trust. (Sizeler was subsequently purchased by Revenue Property Companies.) During his employment at Sizeler Companies, Marc passed the CPA exam and joined the Louisiana Society of Certified Public Accountants. Following employment at Sizeler Companies, Marc transitioned to finance and became a securities analyst with Rice, Voelker, LLC, an institutional stock brokerage firm. At Rice, Voelker LLC Marc obtained both the General Securities Representative License (Series 7) as well as the Financial and Operations Principal License (Series 27).
Marc found his way to Sedona as a full-time resident in 2006. He has worked as a volunteer film screener for the Sedona International Film Festival, has sponsored student nurses through the Florence Nightingale Scholarship Fund, and is a regular contributor to the Verde Valley Food Project among other charitable organizations. Marc is also a former member of the Mardi Gras parade Krewe of Endymion.
